Public Listening Session: City Council Terms and Compensation
Abbotts Creek Community Center
You are invited to attend a public listening session where you will learn about the recommendation made by the study group appointed to evaluate City Council terms and compensation. The feedback gathered will be given to City Council for their consideration.
The recommendations include:
- Changing City Council member terms from two-year to four-year;
- Adopting staggered terms for City Council and Mayor/At-Large;
- Adjustment in compensation for City Council members and Mayor; and,
- Increase in the number of City Council members.
There will also be a presentation about Redistricting and an opportunity to view and comment on the maps.
